Are the bug fixes and minor product upgrades free?

Yes. Bug fixes and minor product upgrades are free. Major upgrades are always reasonably priced and you get the choice of whether to upgrade, based on your needs.

Is your license on a per-user basis?

Yes. Each user who uses our products must obtain a license. With this license, the user can install on a primary machine and a portable/laptop.

Can I install the product on 2 machines (I'm running a desktop in the office, and have a laptop)?

Yes.

I have a build server. Do I have to purchase a license to the software for a build server?

Yes. A Build machine should have its own license.

I want to order a product via your website, but I don't have access to a credit card, how do I proceed?

Budget In Brief is able to accept payment by credit card through Google Check Out, by bank wire transfer, or by check drawn against a US bank in US dollars.

  • If paying by bank wire transfer:
    It generally takes between 3-5 business days for a wire transfer to reach us. Once we receive payment, we will automatically send you notification along with download/registration information. If you do not receive a notification within 3-5 business days, please write to us at customerservice@budgetinbrief.com for assistance.
  • If paying by check:
    We can only accept checks drawn against a US bank in US dollars. If you wish to send us a check, it is best to use a courier service such as Federal Express or UPS so that you can track when the payment has actually reached us. If you use standard postal mail, you should wait 3-4 business days before contacting us to confirm the receipt of the check. To verify that your check was received, please write to us at: customerservice@budgetinbrief.com.
